Another day, very few dollars.

Ok, I am going to gripe in my first entry. Bad I know. But just hear me out. This summer I worked at a Cracker Barrel at home and made pretty good money considering I would work just weekends. But here at school I can't make jack. The problem is that our store isn't off a major highway, its just in a podunk town. So all we get are the locals (who are usually over the age of 65) who DO NOT know how to tip. AT ALL. The worst are the church groups (no offense to organized religion) but these folks are the worst.I bust my rear to get them the 1,000 things they need for their party of 8 or more, and then they leave a dollar or two. NO JOKE. Even just the tables of two. A dollar or two is not a good tip. Two bucks a person is good, and five for a table of four or less is always good. So when you're out. Think about this. Servers only make about $2.13 an hour, they depend on you. And just because the service isn't OUTSTANDING doesn't mean it was bad.

Just something to think about the next time you go out to eat. :)
