I hate hate hate Parker Ford.

[this is a total rant about parker ford and their stupidity]

Ok. So in January I had a car accident. Got an estimate at Parker Ford they said they couldn't get my car in the shop for 2 weeks. Fine whatever. I take the car in the shop and the guy says it'll take about a week. A week passes i haven't heard anything, my dad gets involved (b/c he's my dad and a machanic so he knows how to deal with these people). They say it should be ready by end of week 2. End of week 2 comes and still nothing. Dad calls again, they say they're waiting on a part. Fine. Week 3 comes and they say it's in the paint shop should be ready by Wednesday at the latest. Wednesday comes and STILL not ready. Guy says let's say friday to be sure. I go in friday morning b/c i'm suppose to be leaving town (b/c i made plans forever ago b/c who would have thought my car would STILL be in the shop). Guy says I can pick up car at 3:30 I say NO... i say I will pick it up at 1:00. Finally 1:00pm I get my car. THERE IS A GOD.

Leave town, get to Carbondale... Tom notices the paint job is funky. They put a chipcoat on the bottom panel all across the passanger side.... my driver side however is not like that. WTF? Why would they do that? Did they not take 5 steps to look at the driver side of the car and see it's not like that???? Call Dad. Monday morning he calls Mike (the body shop manager) he says "oh, the other sides not like that???" Says he'll fix it. So today I call to make an appointment to bring car in (again). I explain to some other guy why i'm bringing it in. He remembers the car, and says "well you see the panels on your driver side that we didn't replace already had the chipcoat on them." ... I think to myself "you're a F-ING MORON" and say "No it didn't... why would 1 or 2 of my panels have chipcoat on ONE side of my car but nowhere else?!?!?" So now i'm irritated and on the phone with this moron. and i say "look, my dad has already talked to Mike about the situation he told me you all would fix it." so he's like "fine, i can do it March the 14" TWO FREAKING WEEKS before i can get my car back in there. I'm so irate i could smack someone there.... Mike told my dad that this job should take HALF A DAY. And I swear if it takes more than one day I will scream at someone!

How in the world can a body shop be run by such complete morons????
