Lots going on.

So last weekend Tom and I went home to go with my parents and their friends to the John Mellancamp concert on saturday. It was SOOOOO much fun!!! Mellancamp put on such a good show, he still can rock for being his age which is awesome, and he just seems to be the most humble rockstar ever. At the very end of the show he stood on stage for like 10 minutes while the audience just applauded (b/c he put on such a great show) and this was even after the house lights came on. But he had this weirdo dude, Donovan, that was his "opener" (i say that b/c he played about half way through Mellancamp's set for about 30 minutes). This is the dude, incase you don't know, who sings "... and they call me mellow yellow..." Yeah. He's old. And Trippy. And just plain weird. He sang some old songs that i'd never heard... only like 10 people in the audience stood up for him. But what was crazy was he sang a new song off his new album, and i swear i would have had to been on acid to enjoy it. The lights got all crazy and it was pretty much just spoken word, not song, about the "love in the air between us..." it was super trippy.

So that was last weekend. It was really fun. Then this past week has just been really busy. With the ads club regionals approaching oh so fast we've had a lot of practices and learning lines. But this weekend Amy came to visit me, that was fun. Haven't seen her since christmas so i was glad she came to see me. I felt that maybe murray was a little too boring for her, but to any outsider it tends to seem that way. And Saturday night we had a party at the apartment. though it was sorta like 2 parties b/c kate's friends came over and we partied then they all went to another party and later all my friends came over and it was really fun. :) i am definetly going to miss so many people when i move home. but it will also be super nice to see those people i haven't seen much in the last 4 years.

Speaking of moving home... :) I got SUPER GREAT news!! I got a final job offer from OMD!! YAY!I am going to be an Assistant Strategist. :) YAY! And i'll be working with Akeelah who is fantastic and I know i can learn so much from. I can't wait to start working there, I love the work and I love the people. :) So the last two summers of working for free have paid off, big time!!! :)

Ok but now its a reality check, b/c i'm still here i'm murray and i have about 4 weeks of school left, so i need to get my butt in gear to finish some stuff up. So now i'm off to do some English homework. :)
