I can't wait to move.

So if everything goes as planned Tom and I will move sometime in June. :) That's exciting news isn't it?!? But today has become one of those days where I really hate living at home -- I've definetly decided there comes a point when one can no longer live with their parents.

To me these are probably the top 10 reasons I want to move:

1. The commute -- I live WAY to far out in the suburbs to be working on Michigan Ave.
2. My sanity -- this is a culmination of probably everything on this list, but to me it's a big reason.
3. Privacy -- a 22 year old girl needs her privacy. Simple as that. And in a house this small it's nearly impossible.
4. Sleep -- If I lived closer I wouldn't have to get up so damn early to get to work.
5. Tom & Alichia time -- if I didn't spend 20 hours a week commuting I would have more time to spend with Tom. And that would just make me a much happier person all around.
6. Space -- only having my bedroom to keep everything I need is too small. Especially in our one floor ranch house.
7. Friends -- If we had our own place we'd be able to have friends over whenever we wanted -- with out having to worry about waking our parents, dealing with annoying dogs, etc.
8. Boredum -- living in a city like Chicago is much different than living in a "city" like Oswego/Montgomery. There will be plenty of things to do.
9. Work -- It won't be so hard on me to stay late at work b/c I won't have a 2 hour commute home. Plus going out for a drink w/ co-workers is something I'll actually be able to take part in.
10. It's just damn time! -- I've graduated from college, where I lived for 4 years on my own, have an actual career, a steady relationship. All of that equals = time for a real place of my own. :)
