I <3 Four Day Weekends

So because my job rocks we had Friday off as well as Monday for Memorial Day :) -- Go ahead, be jealous! Which was nice because Thursday night we had an AOL party to attend. It was ok, i was in a weird mood and wasn't up for much drinking. But DJ AM was there (Nicole Richie's boyfriend/fiance/ex whatever he is). Too bad he sucked though. I know i'm not one to judge a DJ, but he just tried to mix to many classic rock songs into dance songs -- STUPID if you ask me. :)
So Friday I slept super late. Then my new iPod came :) woo hoo to that! Then met my mom for lunch at Applebee's. Then I came home, replace my windshield wipers, washed my car and removed all the old ass stickers off my back window. What did Tom and I do friday night.... Oh, we went out to dinner, then just hung out at my house and watched the best of Jimmy Fallon on SNL (i LOVE jimmy fallon!!)
Saturday morning Tom and I went condo hunting -- yep. :) It was good we saw 2 places. The first was nice and what not, but kind of small. The 2nd was much nicer -- both in/near Elmwood Park. I think we've decided that area would be good for both our commutes (me to downtown chicago and Tom to Elmhurst.) But we're still looking and saving, just want to see a lot before we decide (b/c it is such a big decision). Then we had to hang out at his house sat night b/c his parents had some friends over and whatnot. It was fun though, nice people. Unfortuantely we didn't make it to Erin's party -- i fell asleep at like 10 o'clock (pathetic i know) must have been all the fresh air and what not (or maybe all the Lime-Beer-Aide we drank) :)
So today I haven't done too much except clean and balance my check book. I should be getting ready, but i'm taking a break. We're going out with some peeps -- where I do not know, but should be fun.
Then tomorrow Tom and I are going to (finally) paint his room at his parent's house. Should be a fun day off. I'm so so glad that it's finally summer and the 50 degree days are over!!
