Been a while.

So i know i haven't written in here in a while, but last week was a week of really weird mood's (for no apparent reason) for me. So i decided not to rant and rave about nothing for no reason. So now that i've had an AMAZING weekend i feel like writing again.
Thursday we (kate, terra & jamison) all went up to Paducah to the BBQ On The River and it was fun (except for that really excruiating pain in my side i had for a while). Had good food, listened to live music and ate some ice cream. Can't argue with all that. Then I went from there to Carbondale to see Tom. :) That was nice b/c it made my drive much shorter since it was broken up. But i did miss two classes friday to do this, but you only live once right??

So the weekend was great. ALL of tom's roommates were out of town so we had the whole place to ourselves. Which is just nice when you rarely see your signifcant other. We stayed in friday night and just talked for hours (one of the best conversations i've had... and who doesn't love that?) Then saturday night we went out, and i'll admit i was one of the drunkest in the group (but hey Brandon was way drunker than i was, so i don't feel TOO bad.) :) But it was fun to see everyone, especially Alicia (who was also in town to visit her fiance). Then today we just lounged around the house, played darts and watched a movie. Oh and Tom LOVED the dvd i bought him (SNL Best of Christopher Walken), we watched it and it was pretty dang funny.... "i need more cowbell!"

Now i'm home and am very content. Though Tico seems very irritable, i think he's mad b/c i left him all weekend. And Poindexter... well he's getting HUGE!!!
Oh also, last weekend i bought the new Avril Lavigne album and i've been addicted to it ever since... i'm really into female singers right now who aren't totally pop, the Ashlee Simpson cd is good too.
