Updates!

Ok... so it's been a strange couple of days. I don't even know where to start really... Um, how about with the eye dr. appointment. So i get there WAY early and of course they're running behind so my appointment doesn't start until 30 minutes late. Ugh. But anyways, turns out that because my distance vision is getting worse it is causing my close up vision to get better (I wouldn't have believed it either if my Dr. wouldn't have told me herself). But that means she only gave me a prescription for one pair of glasses. I NO LONGER NEED BIFOCALS!!! yay! But of course it'll be 2 weeks before I get the dang things (stupid special order).

So then yesterday I was late getting out of work, when I needed to get out early b/c I had so much to do (having to pack for my trip to Nashville/Paducah this weekend). So of course just as I get outside I see the bus pull away... stupid bus. But then this guy missed the bus too, so he offered to share a cab. Of course I had no cash. But he offered to pay. I know what you're thinking... why would you get in a cab w/ a stranger? But what's the difference if you don't know the driver either!?! :) So anyway turns out he's in the industry and knows a bunch of my co-workers and works on some of the same accounts that I do (but different pieces of it). Small world I must say.

THEN... Last night I was all complaining to Tom about my desk at work. Trivial and stupid I know, but I dont' have a "real" desk. I have a table and it sucks. But I was contemplating whether or not I should say anything to my bosses or not... b/c I didn't want to sound whiny and needy right. Well then today my boss approaches me and asks about my desk situation.... Sooo... I'm getting a real desk!! YAY! Sometime next week. I'm very excited.

That's all the big news hear. Pretty boring big news, but it was all interesting to me.
