Nickelback Concert

Ok, just to start, I tried to post about the concert the other night but my computer froze up and i had to re-start and it didn't save, then I got the flu so i've had no motivation to update. So... moving on...

So the concert was freaking awesome!! When we got to the Peoria Civic Center (PCC) we didn't know who was going to be the opening band. It turned out to be Default & Trapt, which was good and bad. I love Default but neither Tom and I like Trapt very much.

So Default put on a good show. I wanted to go meet them as they were signing autographs while Trapt performed, but since we had general admission tickets we didn't want to give up our spot for when Nickelback came on. So we stayed for Trapt, and let me tell you their singer annoys the crap out of me. He's too pretty to be in that band, and he just seems like he belongs in O-Town. HA!

So then Nickelback came on...!!! They have such energy during their shows that it is unbelievable. The show had a ton of pyro-technics, which was cool (except the first one before they came on stage scared the crap out of me!). While they performed I was such a maniac, singing and jumping around like crazy. So bad that my legs still hurt (4 days later).

This is the set list from the show, and I'll admit it is pretty short considering they have 5 albums (3 major and 2 minor).

All in all they played fantastic and had such energy and presence that it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen (but i'm probably biased b/c i love Nickelback so much!). I took some pictures with my phone, they didn't turn out too well but if i can get them onto my computer i'll post them.

Oh and one thing that really pissed me off... when we came through the gates and got our wrist bands for the general admission seating they didn't give us back our ticket stubs!!! WTF is that?? I know it's not a huge deal, but i always keep my ticketstubs. Jerks!
