Girls In Pants: The Third Summer of the Sisterhood

Ok, so after I read My Sister's Keeper I decided I needed to read something really light (b/c that was so intense). So I turned to another book bought for me for Christmas (also bought by a grandma, too).

This is the third book in the series of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I realize, and you don't have to tell me, that these books are for jr. high kids... but I read the first one b/c I borrowed it from Amy. And if you know Amy, this is right up her ally (I mean that in a good way). Well I was hooked. So this is the girls 3rd summer with the magic pants, and their last together b/c next its off to college (I do believe, and hope, this is where the series ends). But it was cute. All girls seemed to learn alot about themselves (like we all do during that time in our lives). They are scared to leave for college, but can't wait for the adventure. They deal with over protective parents. Firt loves. And new siblings.

Overall I thought it was good, very consistent with the series. I do belive the first one is my favorite... but don't base it off the movie if you've seen that. They didn't follow the book much w/ the movie.

But if you're looking for a light and cute read, this is a good series, even if you are over the age of 13. :)
