I'm a TV Junkie - Someone Help Me!

Ok, So i've always known that i LOVE TV. But now that the network season is over I'm beginning to realize just how much of a TV junkie I am.

Every night I turn on my TiVo and see what the night holds for me -- except with the network seasons over, I have very little to watch! No Grey's Anatomy, Lost, How I Met Your Mother, My Name is Earl, Love Inc, Everybody Hates Chris. No Simpsons, Family Guy or The War at Home. And no Gilmore Girls (or even 7th Heaven!) Not even any new What Not to Wear! It's terrible.

The only things on right now are The Real World, The Hills (thank god!), Real World/Road Rules Challenge, Super Group and the new show Windfall (which, the pilot last night was pretty good -- and who doesn't LOVE Luke Perry!). I'm a little bummed that 8th & Ocean has disappeared though -- we never got to meet the new housemate. WTF? But I'll be glad to see Making the Band and Run's House come back. Oh plus Last Comic Standing is on now, which is pretty funny. OH and Entourage comes back on this week --- see it NEVER ends! Ok, so maybe there is plenty on and I don't know why I'm complaining.

Obviously I TiVo way too much! And that doesn't even include the nights I watch random TV when there was nothing recorded on TiVo that day. Like all those stupid episodes of My Super Sweet 16 -- it's like a really bad car accident, i can't seem to turn away. But the one thing about that show I do like, is it makes me not want to have kids even worse. Oy what bitches they are (even the boys!) Plus addicting shows like Hogan Knows Best and Honey We're Killing the Kids!

So the newest issue of Entertainment Weekly had a one page listing of all of next seasons shows by time/day. I was super excited about this -- even to the point where I tore it out, highlighted the shows to TiVo and hung it at my desk so I won't loose it. Pathetic I know, but TV is so addicting for me. This is what next season holds on network TV:
How I Met Your Mother
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip -- new Mathew Perry hour long drama, we'll see about this.
Gilmore Girls
Lost
Grey's Anatomy
My Name is Earl
The Office - this is mainly for Tom, but I'll TiVo it because it no longer conflicts with my UPN shows (b/c there is no UPN or WGN, there is just the CW -- we'll see about that, too).
EveryBody Hates Chris
The Simpsons
Family Guy
The War at Home

That's 11 shows a week! I know! Tell me about it. Plus that doesn't count any cable shows or HBO shows. Oy! The only thing I'm proud about in all of this, is that I'm not to the point where I TiVo daytime TV everyday -- NO Oprah, The View, Regis & Kelly. NO soaps (I use to love Passions, but it's so bad now). So there that's a good thing. :)

Is anyone else this dependent on their TiVo/DVR? I sort of wish my parents never got the thing -- b/c like everyone always says "I love my TiVo and I couldn't live without it"
